Aren’t we precious

I Pet. 1:18-19

You must know and recognize that you were redeemed [as a slave given their freedom by someone paying a price]

from the useless way of living inherited by tradition [that empty, foolish, and unprofitable conduct, full of vain hopes, vain fears, and vain wishes] from your forefathers,

[the price for your freedom was not bought] with corruptible things [that will perish and have no eternal value] such as silver and gold,

But [you were purchased and given your freedom] with the PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST, the Messiah, like that of a sacrificial lamb without blemish or spot. [perfect in its kind - perfectly pure]

[PRECIOUS = of IMMEASEARABLE VALUE]

Pray the Word:

Lord, we count it as PRECIOUS [of immeasurable value] that You counted us as PRECIOUS [of immeasurable value] when You so loved us that You gave Your only begotten Son to pay the price for our freedom from the control of sin by His PRECIOUS [of immeasurable value] blood. May we continue to live in this PRECIOUS [of immeasurable value] freedom!
