Perilous Times Will Come

We're living in extraordinary times that are causing us to 'look up' more expectantly than ever before. Maranatha!!!

I have found that God's Word is true ... and He is true to His Word.

What WILL BE and What TO DO
in The Last Days

2 Timothy 3:1-17; 4:1-5

What WILL BE regarding ‘PEOPLE’  → The World

2 Tim. 3:2-9

Lovers of self
Utterly self-centered
Lovers of money
Inordinate desire for wealth
Proud
Arrogant
Contemptuous boasters
Abusive
Blasphemous
Scoffers
Disobedient to parents
Ungrateful
Unholy
Profane
Without ‘natural’ affection
Relentless (not able to be appeased)
Slanderers False accusers
Troublemakers
Intemperate (uncontrolled)
Loose morals | conduct
Fierce haters of God
Treacherous (betray | can’t trust)
Rash
Inflated self-conceit
Lovers of sexual pleasures
Loves of vain amusements
Hold a form of godliness
Have no power (Holy Spirit)
Easily swayed | Led away from truth
Hostile to Truth
Depraved distorted minds
Reprobates | Troublemakers
Counterfeit

Not tolerable to sound doctrine
Elevate own teachers with worldly doctrines

Turn aside from hearing the Truth
Turn to man-made doctrine that accommodate the Flesh

What TO DO regarding ‘You’ → The Believers

2 Tim. 3: 10-17; 4:1-5

* CONTINUE TO:

Hold what you know and are convinced of from The Word
(every scripture is breathed by God)
            Given for:
            Instruction
            Reproof of sin
            Conviction of sin
            Correction of error
            Discipline in obedience
            Training in righteousness

            So that you may be:
            Complete
            Proficient
            Well-fitted
            Thoroughly equipped

* CHARGED TO:
            Preach The Word
            Keep sense of urgency whether
                        favorable
                        convenient
                        welcome … or not!

* CONVINCE ‘them’ (UBELIEVERS) BY:
            Rebuking
            Correcting
            Warning
            Urging
            Encouraging

* AS FOR YOU:
Be calm, cool and steady
Accept and suffer hardship unflinchingly
Do the works of and evangelist
Fully perform all duties of your ministry

  1. Hard to swallow, but so true. Help us, Lord do what we can to shine a light in this dark world--the light of Jesus Christ.

Thank you for reading my blog of thoughts, encouragement and instructions the Lord speaks about to me. It is simply my therapy to write down these things as I walk my journey out with Him. I would love to hear back from you. Each new day is a blessing! Dorothy
